Dr Ravinder Singh Sachdev

Deputy Chief Medical Information Officer Tan Tock Seng Hospital

Dr Ravi Sachdev is a Consultant Family Physician and Deputy Director of Transitional Care services at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, as well as Head of innovation at the Institute of Geriatrics and Active Ageing, Singapore. He received his medical degree in Singapore, and postgraduate training in the UK, including a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from the University of Sheffield.  As Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer, he is currently helping to drive the National Healthcare Group’s Care Transformation and Telemedicine projects. He co-authored the National Telemedicine Guidelines, and currently chairs the Vital Signs Monitoring Workgroup as part of Singapore’s National Telehealth Initiative.  Dr Sachdev is a clinical innovator, with several active projects in the areas of remote monitoring, medication compliance and emerging healthcare technologies, and has authored several articles on the future of healthcare and technology. His special interest lies in the application of predictive analytics and the Internet of Things to healthcare.
