At Energy Safe Victoria, there is a growing number of potentially unsafe electric appliances listings on online selling platforms. To address this, the team had developed an audit targeting mechanism for cross-checking product descriptions (brand and model number) with Electrical Equipment Safety Scheme (EESS) database to ensure compliance with the Australian Safety Standard.
