2:00 PM "IA WOMEN” - PANEL DISCUSSION: EMBRACING HOW WOMEN APPROACH PROCESS IMPROVEMENT DIFFERENTLY THAN MEN
Utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma principles towards process improvement efforts, and in turn, IA programs, has been quite common at many, if not most organizations. However, how women approach work in general, and most notably, improving processes, is very different than how a man would, both in thought, practice, reflection, and much more – based upon human chemistry and social norms/tendencies. That said, as a woman working in the IA space, and/or in a process improvement job capacity, how do you work with, and/or manage a wide variety of IA and process improvement teams and projects when half the team thinks and acts one way, and the other half may be on completely different pages? In this session, topics of discussion will include, yet with not be limited to the below.
“IA Women” Perspective On….
- Connecting strategy, goals, and meaningful purposes
- Enabling people to lead and contribute to their fullest
- Delivery value efficiently to the customer
- Discovering better ways of working
