Mauro is responsible for setting up and managing an innovation & incubation programme within BT Enterprise, BT's £6.6bn turnover B2B customer facing unit. The aim of the programme is to identify innovative digital capabilities which are then rapidly incubated in live environments to see what we can learn and which of these we want to industrialise and launch.
Mauro created the programme as a new function, building the team and programme operating model from scratch. Originally conceived to trial innovative third party capabilities to support the unit's Digital Transformation strategy, the programme has successfully launched 30+ early market trials in the last 2 years, reducing the time taken to on board a new third party and get a trial up and running from months to weeks. Mauro has successfully run trials in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and Robotics Process Automation.
