M.D. Ranganath has over 26 years of experience in Global IT services and financial services industries. He has proven leadership in organizational transformation, rapid scaling of global business, successful navigation of volatile business environments, managing stakeholder expectations in a large globally listed corporation, and delivering strong financial outcomes.
He was Chief Financial Officer of Infosys Limited, a global leader in digital services and consulting until November 2018 (NYSE: INFY, Market cap $47 Bn). He is currently on the board of HDFC Bank, India’s largest bank by market cap (NYSE: HDFC, market cap $90 Bn) as an independent director, and is a member of the board of governors of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India’s leading business school. Ranganath also serves as an industry expert and advisor to global companies navigating their digital transformation journey.
In 2017 and 2018, he was the recipient of Best CFO Asia award in technology sector, by Institutional Investor publication, based on a poll among the buy side and sell side investor community.
Ranganath holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a master’s degree in technology from Indian Institute of Technology. He is a member of CPA, Australia.
