Angela currently serves as Managing Director, Business Transformation at Southwest Airlines. Angela is responsible for providing a variety of services to the organization that help identify and enable business transformation opportunities, including Continuous Improvement, Data Science, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), and Innovation. Each of these areas have their own Center of Gravity responsible for inspiring and educating our People on how these capabilities can be leveraged across all areas of our business to drive value.
Angela developed her personal brand as being someone that brings people, ideas and organizations together in order to deliver strong results while mitigating risk for the Company. Over the past 20 years at Southwest, she led enterprise strategic initiatives across multiple aspects of the business including Continuous Improvement, Data Science, Customer Experience, Recovery from Irregular Operations, Low Cost Leadership, and Enterprise Mobility.
Prior to joining Southwest, Angela worked for other well-known brands such as Apple Computer, Nissan Motor Corporation, and JC Penney. She is a graduate of the University of Texas where she studied Marketing. In addition to her professional life, Angela is married and has two children: a 16 year old daughter and a 19 year old son.
