E Long Chua

E Long is currently the Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Kenanga Investment Bank, an award-winning and leading independent investment bank in Malaysia established for more than 40 years. He has accumulated more than 20 years of professional experience helming key leadership roles in strategy, transformation, technology, projects and operations. Having extensively engaged and travelled to more than 20 countries across the world, he has a great appreciation for cultural sensitivities and internationalisation when it comes to putting great minds together.

Prior to this the role, E Long was the COO of AXA, a global insurer voted as the #1 Global Insurance Brand for 10 consecutive years from 2009-2018; he was entrusted to transform the overall operations of the company and innovate the customer experience journey. He has also successfully led and established a regional Centre of Excellence in Asia for AIG with budgets in excess of tens of millions of US Dollar to full completion. He spent more a decade in the consulting arm of technology leaders, IBM and HP covering a wide spectrum of the portfolio, ranging from strategic outsourcing, process innovation and workforce optimisation.

E Long has been passionately sharing his experiences in work and life as a speaker, panellist and moderator in conferences across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong on transformation, customer experience, digitalisation, project management, balanced scorecard and culture. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and is a certified Chief Risk Officer, Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Expert and ISO/IEC20k Consultant.
